Course Description

Having taken 2KAI or 2HOSP is advantageous, but not essential. 



Growing Meat to Eat:

How does the impact of agriculture from farming meat affect us? Are our health and well being impacted? Delve deeper into these factors and weigh up the pros and cons. Take time to develop your own plant based protein product that would appeal to teens and see if you can influence small change

Food Truck Friday:

Become a project manager to set up your own Food Truck. Use planning tools to ensure all aspects are well thought out and prepared for, from; designing, painting, menu planning, budgeting, preparing, cooking, serving.

Dessert Creation:

Practice the implementation of processing skills to create replica desserts. You will make a ricotta and mascarpone cheesecake in which you have made your own cheeses first.
