Having taken 2KAI or 2HOSP is advantageous, but not essential


Level up in the kitchen and explore advanced prep techniques, master key cookery terms, and refine your skills with a focus on vegetables, desserts, and pastry creations. From precision plating to perfect pastries, this course is all about quality, creativity, and confidence. Whether you're planning a future in hospitality or just love to cook, this is where it all comes together.


Skills/content you will cover in this course:

- Learn how to plate dishes like a chef

- Gain knowledge around vegetables, desserts and pastry items as well as various culinary products and terms

- Develop advanced food safety knowledge in hazard identification and work safely in a commercial kitchen context.


Skills you need to be successful in this course: Be open to giving things a try, ability to work independently, excellent time management.


This course is useful for or will lead to: Tertiary study in cookery, food and beverage service, hospitality, travel and tourism.


**Students may only select 3HOSP or 3KAI not both**
