This course is designed to give learners a sound base for working in the Hospitality Industry. Learners will be working to cater for functions and events with finger foods, meals and desserts. There will be a strong focus on team work, communication, creativity, presentation, and time management. Skills learned in this course will support applications for gaining employment in Hospitality, or for going on to further education.

- Dedicated learner laptop (Chrome book suitable) with learners own headset recommended.
- Student workbooks. If a learner elects to complete an external exam, a revision work is recommended and can be purchased via the College at cost of approx. $10 to $25 * depending on year level and workbook required.

To keep costs low, we recommend only buying the items of stationery you do not have. Your child is welcome to bring items from home, perhaps purchased in previous years and repurposed to save money. This could include erasers, headphones, scientific calculators and padlocks for the lockers if they already have one.
