Course Description
Learning Area Leader: Mr A. Gebbie.
Sports science focused course that will consolidate skills learnt in the Level 1 Physical Education Course. Emphasis is put on the biomechanical and sociological aspects of movement.

Biophysical methods and principles
Anatomy and the bodies responses to exercise
Understanding of social responsibility.
Skills you need to be successful in this course - Interest in sports specific training, organisation and reflection to follow the theory content in the course and movement ability across individual and team sports
This course is useful for or will lead to - Level 3 Sport and Recreation and further tertiary options in this area.
