Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms A. Mansfield.
Learners will explore topics including the environment, technology, media, travel, tourism, health, and the culture of the Hispanic world. The course provides opportunities for learners to develop more sophisticated communication skills. This is a balanced course of speaking, writing, listening, and reading based on Level 7 of the New Zealand curriculum. Learners will have the chance to attend the Hispanic film festival and go to a Spanish restaurant to try Spanish food and put in practice what they have learnt.
Students in this course are also able to be part of the exchange program to Spain, which takes place every two years.

Opportunity for a bi annual Overseas Trip allowing learners to deepen and reinforce their learning. * As an optional extra curricular activity the full cost of the trip will be passed onto parents/caregivers.
