Course Description

Learning Area Leader: Mr R. McBrearty.

Learners will look back to a time 2000 years ago, when the Roman Empire ruled the Mediterranean.

  • Roman art and architecture

  • Emperor Augustus and the epic Aeneid

  • Critical thinking and communication skills

  • Analysis.

This course is useful for or will lead to - Classics can lead to a diverse range of career paths and opportunities such as education and research, as well as archaeology. Additionally, the critical thinking, research, and analytical skills gained from studying Classics are highly valued in fields such as law, journalism, public policy, and business.
