Course Description

Learning Area Leader: Mr R. McBrearty.

This course explores the concept of Law within Aotearoa New Zealand. Throughout the course, you will analyse how laws are created, and how they support society. You will also look into governments, and discuss how these operate throughout the world.

  • Discussion and analysis of information.


Skills you need to be successful in this course - a good level of literacy both on paper and a device.  

This course is useful for or will lead to - further studies in Legal Studies or Law. Further studies into Aotearoa New Zealand and our histories.

It is recommended learners have previously taken a Level 1 or 2 English/History/Geography course.
