Course Description

Ever wondered how governments create everyday laws? Ever thought about what parts of society influence the creation of laws? Ever considered why laws change?  3 Law is designed to get you evaluating government and debating how laws are created throughout Aotearoa.  If politics are your thing, or you’re considering a career in law, this course could be for you. 

In this course, you will learn about:

  • The ways in which laws are created

  • Aotearoa’s government and political ideology

  • Concepts of justice & concepts of law

  • Making justified, supported arguments about the justice system in Aotearoa
