Course Description
Learning Area Leader: Mrs M. Millar.
Learners will learn to explore and express their world through making artwork digitally in the disciplines of illustration, typography, image manipulation and Design. Learn to think and see the world like a Visual Arts Designer. The course will prepare the learner for producing and collecting evidence that can be used for a portfolio of learning in preparation for Senior Visual Arts courses.
Skills/content you will cover in this course
How to use design drawing practices of illustration, typography and image manipulation
How to produce an artist workbook to collate and develop artworks
How to produce finished artworks.
This course is useful for or will lead to - this course will lead to a level 1 art course. Learning to look, think and create like an artist leads analysis and problem solving skills that are sought-after in the modern workplace.
