Explore the world around you through dance: explore who you are, your stories and how you can impact others. This is a highly practical performance course where you will develop movement, choreography and performance skills.
Skills/content you will cover in this course
Learn to communicate through movement and interpret meaning from movement
Develop choreography skills to communicate intention
Develop movement skills in a range of dance genres and styles
Analyse performance, demonstrating knowledge of elements of dance and key features of dance styles
Develop performance skills through participating in performance opportunities.
Skills you need to be successful in this course - ability to demonstrate whanaungatanga and kotahitanga by supporting and working with others - Creative and critical thinking - Willingness to perform
