• This is a Te Reo and Te Ao Māori based course.

• Taonga tākaro (māori based) games will be used as a vehicle with a view to creating enjoyment and variety in learning.

Skills you need to be successful in this course are an enthusiasm to participate either individually or as a team. An independent learner who is ready to learn and flourish in te ao Māori.

This course is useful for or will lead to te ao Māori and Te Reo Māori based courses while at Rolleston College and it will broaden your understanding of tikanga and te reo Māori.
