Students will have the opportunity to develop understanding of the links between language, culture and identity.
Skills/content you will cover in this course
Develop their language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing
Communicate and connect with others in the speaking community
Develop the skills of writing and form sentences in the correct structure.
Skills you need to be successful in this course - students need confidence to speak, read and write in Samoan language and also gain knowledge and skills that enrich and support every aspect of their journey through life, including the "world of work".
This course is useful for or will lead to - communicating and understanding Gagana Samoa enables exploration, celebration and deepening of Va (relationship) through which cultural identity is connected.
