Explore the Japanese language and culture whilst continuing to develop your communicative competence to a high level.
Skills/content you will cover in this course
Express and justify ideas using a wide range of vocabulary and language structures
Interpret written and aural texts
Converse with others with increasing fluency
Topics include school life, teenage lifestyles, environmental issues in Japan, leisure interests and a movie study.
Skills you need to be successful in this course - resilience, critical thinking, communication and collaboration, assessing and analysing information
This course is useful for or will lead to - Level 3 Japanese. You can study languages at university as either a major or minor subject. Knowing a second language is very useful for a wide range of careers, such as business, education, tourism, government, translation and interpretation and journalism.
Recommended Prior Learning
Level One Japanese.
