3 Advanced Chemistry

Course Description

Learning Area Leader: Ms C. Green.

Learners will explore how the material world operates. The course will cover a variety of aspects of chemistry and how it can be applied in real world scenarios, including understanding of spectroscopic data, properties and thermodynamics, organic chemistry, oxidation and reduction reactions and quantitative analysis. We will look at the factors which cause and impact chemical reactions through theoretical knowledge and practical investigations.
