Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr R. McBrearty.
Learners will have the opportunity to create and run their own small business with a community/sustainability focus over the course of a year. They will learn about how sustainability impacts on existing businesses and then apply this understanding to their own business. For their business, they will conduct market research to better understand what their potential customers are interested in and incorporate this market research into decision making in their business. Learners will also learn to use spreadsheets to produce financial statements that will help with informed decision making in their business.
