Course Description
Learning Area Leader: Mr F. Rzoska.
This workshop course is practical based with supporting documentation required to give evidence of understanding. Students will be using a broader range of hand and power tools as well as more advanced building techniques. A mix of both Industry Unit Standards and Achievement Standards may be used in this course.

Measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, fabrication, fitting and finishing

Learning to follow instruction, read and create plans and cutting list
Correct usage of hand and power tools.

This course is useful for or will lead to - 3BUILD.
**Please note that learners can only choose one build course and cannot take 2BUILD and 2DAB**
Recommended Prior Learning
It is recommend that students have successfully completed Y11 Construction however students that have successfully completed wood technology in year 10 can be considered with consultation with Mr Van Garderen.

Course Fee $70.00 for in class materials and resources. * Refer to the take home component below.
A Bench Seat is sold. The students will make two other projects to be taken home.
