9 Drama: Improvisation (Term Two)

Course Description

Have you watched ‘Whose Line is it Anyway?’ OR ‘Thank God you’re here!’ Learn the skills of improvisation in this selected course. This is a highly practical course where you will explore techniques and elements of Drama to create scenes for an audience on the spot! 


Skills/content you will cover in this course 

  • How to use elements of Drama to structure a scene

  • The 'Golden Rules' of Improvisation

  • You will learn a variety of theatre sports games and perform in a competition to an audience.


This course is useful for or will lead to - Year 10 Drama and NCEA Drama courses.
