This course focuses on developing algebraic skills and understanding for students pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) pathways.

Skills you need to be successful in this course - Basic algebra - manipulating formulas, changing the subject of an equation and solving linear equations (one variable), Strong Arithmetic Skills, Operations on fractions, decimals and percentages, basics of measurement - 2D and 3D shapes
This course is useful for or will lead to - 2STEM, 2CALC and further Level 3 courses.
**Please note that learners can only take ONE maths course in Year 11**
Recommended Prior Learning
A good understanding of Algebra.
