Course Description
Learning Area Leader: Mrs M. Darroch.
This course aims to fulfill the numeracy prerequisite by enabling students to earn 10 credits towards their academic progress if they did not gain these in Year 10.
Skills/content you will cover in this course
Operations, fractions, decimals, percentages, equations, inequalities, and basic statistical concepts
Develop practical skills in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data
Skills you need to be successful in this course - a willingness to learn. Basics of Arithmetics - ratios, percentages, fractions, decimals. Basics of Statistics.
This course is useful for or will lead to - Level 2 Maths Lab and Level 2 Maths for Apprentice.
**Please note this course is ONLY for learners who did not achieve the 10 credit Numeracy pre-requisite in Year 10**
**Please note that learners can only take ONE maths course in Year 11**
