1 Food Product Design - Hangarau Kai
Course Description
Teacher in Charge:
This course has a strong focus on the design thinking process, using te tukanga hoahoa whakaaro as our model, to create a prototype. You will design a hand held bread product using manaakitanga, kaitiakitanga and whanaungatanga as your guiding principles. How can we ensure everyone in our kura feels recognised and welcome by showcasing their culture through kai?
We will also look at sustainability and community by working with local businesses and charity organisations to prepare kai using sustainable practices to provide for those in need.
