1 Fabric Product Design - Hangarau Pūeru
Course Description
In this course, you will use Te Tukanga Hoahoa Whakaaro, the design process, to design and create a leisurewear garment. You will develop textile construction techniques and learn about sustainable practices in the fashion/textile industry.

Recommended Prior Learning
Some experience in soft materials technology would be an advantage.
Additional Course Specific Contributions & Equipment/Stationery
Fabric will be supplied for the first two projects so $30 for these take home components (t-shirt, shorts/skirt). Students are expected to provide their own fabric for the third project.
