1 Design & Visual Communication

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr F. Rzoska.

Design and Visual Communication uses two teacher developed design briefs in Product, and Spatial design scenarios to teach the design process and drawing skills. Freehand drawing skills and Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings are produced for internal and external achievement standards. This course has traditionally been portfolio based.

Additional Course Specific Contributions & Equipment/Stationery

Students would benefit from a laptop that is capable of running current Archicad and Autodesk Inventor. These programs are free to download through Rolleston College login.
