Course Description
Learning Area Leader: Mr F. Rzoska.
This course covers the full range of Digital Technologies topics, including creating basic computer programs, using design processes to develop digital media outcomes (such as images, websites, 3D models, games, or videos), and investigating how humans and computers interact.

Skills you need to be successful in this course - regular attendance, creative mind, be a problem solver, resilience, self-direction, independence and curiosity.
This course is useful for or will lead to - developing computational thinking and design thinking skills (useful in any field). Leads to 2DIGI and 3DIGI (in school), and computer science/software engineering and a range of media design options beyond school.
Recommended Prior Learning
Year 9 or 10 selected course (9DIGI, 9ROBO, 10DIGI, 10ANIM) would be an advantage but not required.
Additional Course Specific Contributions & Equipment/Stationery
Students would benefit from a laptop that is capable of running current Adobe Creative Cloud and CAD software (or equivalent). Please note there are limited school laptops available for in class use.
Laptop Mouse for use with School devices.
