1 Introduction to Building
Course Description
Learning Area Leader: Mr F. Rzoska.
This workshop course is practical based with supporting documentation required to give evidence of understanding. Both BCITO Unit Standards and NCEA Achievement Standards are incorporated, which enables multiple future pathways for the students.

Student Take Home Components. Note a full payment of course contribution will allow learners to take home any items they produce during the course. Otherwise, items remain the property of the school for community purchase at the end of year. This helps to replace course materials.
Students make a range of take home products throughout the whole year including Cape Cod Chair, Saw horse and other projects.
