Explore the language and culture while developing your written and speaking communication skills.
Skills/content you will cover in this course
Develop kōrero and the ability to write in Te Reo Māori
Build understanding and use of the language with a view toward expressing feelings, thoughts and experiences.
Skills you need to be successful in this course - resilience, adaptability, critical thinking and communication are key components.
This course is useful for or will lead to - this course is a platform for further learning of Te Reo Māori in the future at NCEA Level 2 and 3 and into tertiary pathways.
Recommended Prior Learning
Year 10 Te Reo Māori Selected course.

Overnight Noho Marae and or Wananga at approximately $150 depending on the length of stay. * Fees are used to cover travel expenses, food and/or fees and will be added to statements when trips occur.
