Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms A. Mansfield.
Ākonga (learners) will develop their foundation Te Reo Māori and Māoritanga to be able to communicate in everyday matters. They will develop the skills of kōrero, whakarongo, pānui and tuhituhi. Additional activities such as preparing kai and noho marae will be delivered throughout the year in order to experience some of the taonga within Māoritanga.
Additional Course Specific Contributions & Equipment/Stationery
Overnight Noho Marae and or Wananga at approximately $150 depending on the length of stay. * Fees are used to cover travel expenses, food and/or fees and will be added to statements when trips occur.

This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
