3 Spanish

Learners will further explore the Spanish language and culture.  Topics will include the environment, media, technology and social issues in the Hispanic world.  Students will be able to use a wide range of language to express and justify their opinions and ideas.  They will be able to support or challenge the opinions of others.  They will learn to interpret aural and written texts in detail.  Students will continue to develop their communicative competence and intercultural understanding. Learners will have the chance to attend the Hispanic film festival and go to a Spanish restaurant to try Spanish food and put in practice what they have learnt. Students in this course are also able to be part of the exchange program to Spain.
