Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Gebbie.
Learners will examine the underpinnings of Health Education and develop an in-depth knowledge of current best practice. They will identify health issues that constitute barriers, explore strategies and agencies that work to address these.
A strong focus on the conceptual framework of Health education will be explored throughout the course. This will include; development of critical thinking skills around health inequities, the determinants of health and the socio-cultural factors that determine the wellbeing of a population will be explored
