3 Media - Lights, Camera, Action!

Course Description

Learners will have the opportunity to show their creative side.  They will learn about film making and then use that knowledge to create their own film.  They will also be given skills to be able to critically analyse an aspect of the media industry and write an essay in the NZQA examinations.

This course helps to build on skills they will need in the real world through analysing texts and working collaboratively with others if they choose.

If you choose this course you cannot choose 3 Media.

Recommended Prior Learning

If you are wanting to take this course it is recommended that you have Achieved in any of the Level 2 Media Studies or English courses.  Having a good knowledge of film making software is helpful but not compulsory.
