3 Media Studies
Course Description
Learners who take this course will have the opportunity to learn about the media industry. They will learn about media manipulation and how we can use critical skills to navigate it. Learners will also do an in depth study into a film genre, with this being assessed in an essay in NZQA examinations. This course is based more in theory and will help prepare learners for further study.
If you choose this course you cannot choose 3 Media (Lights, Camera, Action).
Recommended Prior Learning
If you are wanting to take this course it is recommended that you have Achieved in any of the Level 2 Media Studies or English courses. Having a good knowledge of film making software is helpful but not compulsory.
