Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs B. Hoy
Learners will learn about two vital components of business- managing employees and cash flow. They will learn business strategies to maximise these and increase their chances of success. Learners will also investigate a relevant contemporary issue relating to a New Zealand business. For example, how sustainability impacts business in the short and long term.

Dedicated learner laptop (Chrome book suitable) with learners own headset recommended.
Student workbooks. A revision work Level 2 Business Studies Learning Workbook is recommended at an approx. cost of $10 to $15.

To keep costs low, we recommend only buying the items of stationery you do not have. Your child is welcome to bring items from home, perhaps purchased in previous years and repurposed to save money. This could include erasers, headphones, scientific calculators and padlocks for the lockers if they already have one.
