Course Description

Following the rise and fall of empires, regimes and governments, World @ War starts with the assignation of an Archduke and the start of the first World War and ends with the dropping of a bomb on Hiroshima in 1945. We look at who goes to war and why, and the rise of powerful people and their effect on the world. Learn how to analyse sources, be creative, update your research skills, communicate ideas, think critically and reflect on NZ at war.
